Our client Netex was one of the many exhibitors at the Learning Technologies 2020 Exhibition; Europe’s leading showcase of technology used to support learning at work. Netex develops apps and service-based solutions to deliver digital learning in companies and academic institutions.
Unlike other online learning development companies, Netex offers a personal approach to customers and trainees. They asked us to produce an interactive video experience for attendees to express their interests in tech and share ways in which Netex can help business leaders of the future.
Solution: Interview Video Booth
With our Ring Booth, we set up an interactive video experience in the form of an Interview Booth at the Netex stand. As attendees approached the Interview Booth, they could choose from one of the following categories to identify which question would be best suited to them: LT Attendee, L&D Manager, Learning Technologist, Partner. Once selected, the attendee proceeded to answer a question via video wearing a clip-on microphone. For example, had they selected LT Attendee, their question would have been: ‘What are your big takeaways from LT this year? What is really exciting for you?’.
For this activation, videos were recorded for Netex use only, which meant that users were not able to share their videos to social media. This activation is a good example of how video technology can be used for research purposes, in order for companies to gain feedback on their services or products. Capturing content at an international event like LT 2020 also ensured a continuous and diverse stream of attendees – all providing unique, real-time responses. Over the course of two days, the exhibition had a footfall of approx. 8,500 international visitors, travelling from over 50 countries worldwide.
