For the launch of Brownlights – a sulfate free toning shampoo by Redken – we were asked to produce branded before and after video clips for Instagram Stories. Redken teamed up with well-renowned hairdresser Larry King at his Notting Hill Salon; inviting influencers and hair professionals to West London for an exclusive afternoon of hair-care with the new product.
Solution: Before and after video shoot
We were there to capture the action with our Before and After live-editing video shoot; producing sleek 10 second video clips that incorporated Redken branding. Our videographer Nick directed the shoot to ensure guests flaunted their hair’s new found colour and anti-brass shine. Video clips could be sent to users via Whatsapp and email for instant sharing on Instagram with #brownlights.

We estimated that approx. 640,000 users saw the final videos on Instagram. This was mainly fuelled by influencers sharing their videos to Instagram Stories with specific hashtags.
